CANADA IN GROUP D FOR FIBA U17 WOMEN'S BASKETBALL WORLD CUP 2018

MINSK, Belarus (FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2018) - The draw ceremony for the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2018 took place on Tuesday at the City Hall in Belarus' capital city of Minsk.

On hand for this special event were: Maksim Ryzhenkov, President of the Belarusian Basketball Federation; Igor Urkevich, Deputy Chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee; and representatives of the participating teams, including that of the host nation.

They were joined by former national team players Tatiana Ivinskay Beloshapko and Tatsiana Troina, who lent a hand in carrying out the draw.

The FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2018 will take place at Minsk's Sport Palace and Falcon Club, from July 21-29.
