Andrew Wiggins had another great game for Huntington Prep last week. In 3 games last week, he helped Huntington Prep go 3-0 and increase their ranking to fifth best high school in the USA. In one game last week Andrew poured in 32 points in a 78-55 win vs. Flora Macdonald (Red Springs, N.C.).
Andrew is one of the best prospects not only coming out of Canada but North America. He is ranked the best overall basketball recruit for his class in 2014 by ESPN. This isn’t a surprise when he played for Canada on the 2010 U17 Cadet Team, when he was only 15 years old. He alongside Kevin Pangos and Anthony Bennett helped Canada claim a bronze medal in the tournament. Andrew’s best game in the competition was against the USA team (the eventual champions), where he scored 20 points, notched 5 rebounds and 2 blocked shots.
