FORMER RAPTOR CENTRE PAPE SOW TO PLAY IN ITALY

MILAN, Italy - Former Toronto Raptor centre Pape Sow will be playing in Italy again next season.
Armani Jeans Milano of Italy's top Serie A pro league announced the signing of the 26-year-old Sow, a native of Senegal, for the 2008-09 season, with a team option for the following season.
Sow says on the team's website that he's "very happy" to have signed with the club. "I cannot wait to start working with my new team, to play and to see how far we can get."
He finished last season by playing two Euroleague games with Polish champion Prokom Trefl Sopot. He began the past season in Italy with Sebastiani Rieti of pro league Lega 2, taking part in 19 games during which he averaged 13.5 points and 9.4 rebounds.
Sow played college ball at Cal State-Fullerton, then spent three NBA seasons with Toronto, appearing in 76 games, including 29 starts. With the Raptors, he averaged 2.9 points and 2.8 rebounds in 11.6 minutes per game.
