KENDALL OFF TO STRONG START IN GREEK LEAGUE

PIREUS, Greece - Levon Kendall of the Canadian Senior Men's National Team has begun his season in the Greek A1 League with two strong performances for Costa Cafe Marousi.

Kendall started last Sunday in an 86-77 loss to Olympiakos S.F.P. Pireus, scoring 10 points (4-of-10 shooting) and grabbing six boards (four offensive). He has 16 points and 12 rebounds after the first two rounds of A1 play and Marousi has a 1-1 record.

Olympiakos is among three undefeated teams.

On Sunday, former NBA player Linas Kleiza (Denver Nuggets) of Olympiakos led all scorers with 27 points. Jared Homan was tops for Marousi with 23.
