The St. Francis Xavier X-Men won their AUS basketball regular-season opener last Friday night in Charlottetown.

The X-Men defeated the UPEI Panthers 94-83, in theory giving head coach Steve Konchalski the all-time CIS men’s record for coaching wins at 735, passing long-time Brandon head coach Jerry Hemmings.
