BUCKNOR CONTINUES STRONG PLAY IN FRENCH LEAGUE

BOURG-EN-BRESSE, France - Canadian Senior Men's National Team member Jermaine Bucknor (Edmonton) scored a team-high 14 points in Stade Clermontois Basket Auvergne's 77-72 loss to JL Bourg Basket in France's Pro B league on Saturday.

Bucknor was 4-of-5 from the field, including three triples, and 3-of-5 on free throws. He also had four rebounds, three assists and two steals in 29 minutes off the bench.

Daniel Coleman led Bourg with 16 points.

Bucknor continues to have a strong season for Clermont, averaging 14.9 points and 3.2 assists in 17 games. His team, however, is struggling, mired near the bottom of the Pro B circuit with a 6-11 record.

Bourg is tied for fifth in the 18-team league at 10-7.
