It was a back and forth affair in the opening quarter as Canada and China went shot-for-shot from long range while China earned a slim 26-21 lead heading into the second frame.

China extended their lead in the second frame, ramping up their defence, maintaining their shooting from the first quarter, and earning a 44-37 lead heading into halftime.

China extended their rebounding advantage and their lead early in the third quarter, pushing the differential to double-digits and heading into the fourth quarter with a 64-53 lead.

The fourth quarter was much of the same, as China continued to knock down the long-range shot and eventually went on to earn the 82-65 victory.
