Canadian Connections at Nba All-star Global Camp

New Orleans, LA (February 18, 2017) - Kitchener, ON native and MVP of the 2017 BBVA Rising Stars Challenge, Jamal Murray stopped by the Basketball Without Borders Global Camp today to see some familiar Canadian faces.

Ten Canadians were selected to participate in the weekend-long event hosted by the NBA, FIBA and Nike in New Orleans. The annual event brings together the top high-school age girls and boys from around the world - with 68 athletes from 32 countries and territories attending this year. Murray attended the inaugural camp in 2015, where he picked up MVP honours.

On Saturday, the campers also heard from Toronto Raptors General Manager, Masai Ujiri, who spoke to them on the importance of respect, work ethic and always representing your country with pride.
