Jama Mahlalela

Position: Assistant Coach/ Player Development of Toronto Raptors

Topic: “How do we get better today?”
Five key areas of focus for player development and player engagement throughout a season.

  • Director of Basketball Operations for NBA Asia 2010 – 2013
  • Played 5 years at UBC, and led team to CanWest title in 2003

Jodi Gram

Position: Co-Head Coach of Cadette Women’s National Team & Head Coach of Bill Crothers S. S. Senior Girls Basketball Team

Topic: “Integrating Mental Training on the Floor”
Gram will present on ways to encourage mental self-awareness on the floor, as well as ways for athletes to monitor it. This will involve the sharing of coping mechanisms for athletes and ways to integrate into our practices, coaching plans & debriefs.
