U16 Men Finish 2nd At 2017 Fiba Americas Championship

FORMOSA, ARGENTINA (June 18, 2017) - Canada's U16 Men's National Team finished 2nd at the 2017 FIBA U16 Americas Championship, taking home the silver medal after a 111-60 loss to the United States. Luka Sakota (Etobicoke, ON) scored a team-high 17 points, while Cashius McNeilly (Scarborough, ON) and Shemar Rathan-Mayes (Toronto, ON) added 15 and 14 points, respectively.

With the result, Canada qualifies for the 2018 FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup.
