Trey Lyles

With the Canadian Junior Men’s Team off to a 2-0 start, a guaranteed spot into the semi-finals of the FIBA Americas U18 Championship and a berth into next year’s FIBA U19 World Championship, Trey Lyles (Saskatoon, SK) has been instrumental in helping the Junior Men’s National Team reach these feats.

In the first game the tournament against Puerto Rico and his first game in a Canadian uniform, Lyles didn’t seem to have any jitters as he calmly recorded a double-double with 17 points and 16 rebounds.  It was more the same in his next game against Colombia, where he recorded another double-double with 17 points and 19 rebounds.

Through his first two games in the tournament, Lyles leads the tournament in rebounding and is seventh in scoring.

The seventh ranked recruit in the 2014 class has already committed to Indiana University.
