Media accreditation now open for the inaugural GLOBL JAM; deadline to apply July 3

The media accreditation process for GLOBL JAM is now underway. Interested members of the media can click here to apply.

Set to take place in Toronto from July 5-10, GLOBL JAM will shine the international spotlight on the game’s rising stars and feature women’s and men’s teams from around the world competing in an Under-23 tournament live at Mattamy Athletic Centre and broadcast nationally on Sportsnet.

Recognized by the International Basketball Federation (FIBA), the GLOBL JAM men’s and women’s tournaments will feature two pools of four teams, respectively, competing in round-robin action July 5-8. Teams that advance to the semifinal round will meet on Saturday, July 9, followed by the Championship games on Sunday, July 10.

The inaugural GLOBL JAM field includes representatives from the following countries:

- Women’s Tournament – Canada, United States, Belgium, France

- Men’s Tournament – Canada, United States, Brazil, Italy

As Canada’s #1 sports media brand, Sportsnet will serve as the exclusive broadcaster of GLOBL JAM, delivering full-court coverage across its national channels and streaming services. Full coverage details, including broadcast team and schedule, will be announced at a later date.  

The deadline to apply is Sunday, July 3 at 11:59 PM ET.


Mixed Zone interview opportunities

Interview opportunities with selected players will be organized for all media following each game. These interviews will be carried out in a pre-defined location around the court area or in an appropriate mixed zone area.

Access to Practice Sessions
