TORONTO (May 26, 2026) — Canada Basketball has announced the 3x3 Women’s National Team roster that will represent Canada at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2026 from June 1-7 in Warsaw, Poland.

The Canadian roster features three members of Canada’s 2024 Olympic 3x3 team in Paige Crozon (Humboldt, Sask.), Katherine Plouffe (Edmonton, Alta.) and Kacie Bosch (Lethbridge, Alta.), alongside Tara Wallack (Surrey, B.C.), who will make her FIBA 3x3 World Cup debut.

Canada enters the tournament looking to improve on its bronze-medal finish at the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2025. Crozon and Bosch were both part of the Canadian squad that captured bronze last summer, closing the tournament with a dominant 21-9 victory over Poland in the bronze-medal game.

Crozon delivered a standout performance in the win, scoring 13 points and adding five rebounds as Canada secured its second podium finish in program history.

Plouffe returns to the World Cup after helping Canada capture the FIBA 3x3 Women’s Series 2025 title, the program’s third Women’s Series championship. Canada followed up that success earlier this month by opening the 2026 Women’s Series season with a title at the Shanghai stop on May 17.

Plouffe, Crozon and Wallack all played key roles in the tournament victory as Canada defeated Amsterdam 19-17 in overtime in the championship game to begin the new season undefeated.

“We’re excited about the group we’re bringing to Warsaw,” said Steve Baur, Vice-President and General Manager, Women’s High Performance. “This roster brings a strong mix of experience, chemistry and momentum, with athletes who have proven themselves on the international stage. Paige, Kat and Kacie bring valuable Olympic and World Cup experience, while Tara has continued to grow within our program and earned this opportunity..”

Canada is seeded fifth for the tournament and has been drawn into Pool D alongside Lithuania, Ukraine, Japan and France.

The Canadians will open pool play on June 2 against Lithuania at 12:30 p.m. ET before facing Ukraine at 2:20 p.m. ET. Canada returns to action on June 4 against Japan at 12:55 p.m. ET and France at 2:45 p.m. ET.

“Our expectation is to compete for a medal,” Baur added. “This group has experience in big moments and we believe we have the talent, chemistry and mindset to compete with anyone in the tournament. The focus is on continuing our momentum and putting ourselves in position to play our best basketball when it matters most.”

All games from the FIBA 3x3 World Cup 2026 will be available live on CBC Gem and the FIBA 3x3 YouTube channel.
