Adika Peter-McNeilly and Cassandre Prosper Named Toyota Players of the Week for August 16-22.

Adika Peter-McNeilly and Cassandre Prosper have been selected as the Toyota Players of the Week for the week of August 16-22. 

Peter-McNeilly averaged 12 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists over two games during the CEBL semifinals and finals, helping the Edmonton Stingers (CEBL) win a back-to-back CEBL Championship. Adika was also named the CEBL 6th man of the year. The 6’3” guard played for Ryerson University (USPORTS). The Scarborough, ON native played professionally in Europe and in Canada, currently playing for the Stingers.

In her Team Canada debut, Prosper led Canada to their first win at the FIBA U16 Women's Americas over Brazil (82-56), collecting an impressive 24 points, 9 rebounds , 4 assists and 4 steals. The 6’2” forward from Rosemere, QC currently attends Capital Courts Academy.
