TORONTO (April 3, 2026) — Canada Basketball announced Friday the 41 athletes invited to attend its U18 Men’s National Team Selection Camp, set for April 3–6 at Humber College in Toronto.

Held annually, the Selection Camp brings together top athletes from across the country as part of Canada Basketball’s men’s high-performance pathway. Athletes will compete in front of Canada Basketball staff as final evaluations are made ahead of this summer’s international competition.

The coaching staff, led by head coach Charles Hantoumakos alongside assistants Dave DeAveiro, Murphy Burnatowski and Kyle Landry, will oversee on-court sessions and lead the evaluation process throughout the camp.

Following the Selection Camp, selected athletes will advance to the final U18 training camp later this summer. The final roster will represent Canada at the FIBA U18 Men’s AmeriCup 2026, with location details to be announced.

The Selection Camp will conclude with the Canada Basketball Selection Camp Games fuelled by Gatorade, featuring intrasquad matchups as part of the final stage of the selection process.

Both games will be live streamed, with broadcast details to be announced.
