TORONTO (July 2, 2026) – Canada Basketball announced today the rosters that will represent Canada and Team Ottawa at the FIBA 3x3 Women's Series stop in Marseille, France, taking place July 3-4.
Both teams enter the tournament following strong performances at last weekend's Poitiers stop. Canada finished second after dropping an overtime decision in the final, while Ottawa placed fourth after falling to Canada in the semifinal.
The semifinal was decided by a thrilling 17-16 overtime victory for Canada, with Paige Crozon scoring the game-winning basket to send her team to the final. The result also brought to an end an impressive run for Ottawa, which was making its first FIBA 3x3 Women's Series appearance of the season.
Returning to Canada’s roster are Olympians Katherine Plouffe and Paige Crozon, alongside Merissah Russell and Cassandra Brown.
Crozon enters the stop after leading the Poitiers tournament in scoring with 35 points. She also finished second in player value and was named the tournament's top-ranked player. Plouffe led all players with 11 assists and ranked second in rebounds with 25, while Russell has continued to establish herself on the international 3x3 circuit after being named tournament MVP at the Shanghai stop of the 2026 FIBA 3x3 Women's Series.Brown also brings championship experience, having played a key role in Canada's title-winning performance at the 2025 FIBA 3x3 Women's Series Final in Shanghai.
Returning to Team Ottawa is Olympian Kacie Bosch, alongside Saicha Grant-Allen, Niyah Becker and Jade Belmore.
Grant-Allen brings valuable experience to Canada's lineup after a strong performance at last weekend's Poitiers stop.
