Addison Patterson led Team Canada offensively with 18 points off of 47% shooting.  On the other end of the court, Joshua Hemmings punished Australia on the glass and recorded himself 7 rebounds to lead the team in that category.

Canada moved the ball smoothly during the first quarter to keep up with Australia's attack-the-glass play style and keep them infront.  At the end of the first quarter, Canada led Australia 21-15.

Trying to push Australia out to the 3-point line by blocking lanes and switching to zone defence, Canada continued to keep ahead of Australia.  Going into the second half, Canada led Australia 32-30.

Australia came into the second half much more efficient and caused Canada significant problems on all ends of the court.  FInding more ways to score as the quarter went on, Canada led Australia 50-45 going into the final 10 minutes of play.

Canada held off a resilient Australia team in the fourth quarter to seal the victory and move on.
