Chatham, Ontario native Bridget Carleton continues to be a key contributor for the Portland Fire, delivering an outstanding performance against the Seattle Storm on June 17th to help lead Portland to a 94–89 victory as WNBA All-Star voting heats up. Carleton led the Fire with 24 points, knocking down a career-high seven three-pointers while adding four rebounds, two assists, two blocks, and one steal. Her impact was felt across the stat sheet, providing a spark on both ends of the floor. Although she has yet to earn a WNBA All-Star selection, Carleton is making a strong case for her first appearance in 2026 through her consistent play and standout performances this season.Bridget last suited up for Canada with the Senior Women’s National Team at the FIBA Women’s AmeriCup qualifying tournament in Istanbul, Turkey, in March.
Montreal native Quincy Guerrier continues to make an impact with the Montreal Alliance in his second season with the club. Returning home for the summer, the Alliance captain has lived up to expectations, providing leadership and production on both ends of the floor. This past week, Guerrier averaged 16.0 points and 14.0 rebounds across two games, helping lead Montreal to a pair of victories. His energy, rebounding ability, and veteran presence have been key factors in the Alliance's success as they continue their CEBL campaign. Guerrier most recently represented Canada with the Senior Men’s National Team during the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup in Managua, Nicaragua.
