Dylan Ennis and Emily Potter named Toyota Players of the Week

Dylan Ennis and Emily Potter have been selected as the Toyota Players of the Week for December 7 – 13.

Dylan Ennis had a strong week in Spain’s Liga ACB, where he averaged 19 points, four rebounds and five assists in his two games with Casademont Zaragoza. The 6-foot-2 guard has played in Europe since 2017 after some time in the NBA’s Summer League with the Golden State Warriors. During his collegiate career, Ennis played for Rice University, Villanova and the University of Oregon.  In 14 ACB games this season, Ennis is averaging 16.3 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.9 assists.

Emily Potter scored 21 points in 27 minutes in KP Brno’s win over Loko Trutnov last week in ZBL action in the Czech Republic. She also added 11 rebounds, two assists, one block and a steal in the 89-56 victory. The Winnipeg, MB native played collegiately at the University of Utah, where she became the first player in program history to record over 1,500 points, 1000 rebounds and 200 blocks. She was also named to the Pac-12 All-Conference team in her sophomore, junior and senior seasons as a member of the Utes. She’s spent six years with Team Canada, and most recently competed at the 2019 Pan Am Games in Lima, Peru.
