TORONTO (Apr. 27, 2026) - Keishana Washington and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander have been named Keg Size Players of the Week for Apr. 20-26.
Washington continues to dominate in her first season with Keflavik in Iceland. The Pickering, Ont. native dropped an impressive double-double of 16 points and 12 assists, along with five rebounds in a win over Haukar. Capping off a hot streak, Washington also delivered a 39-point performance on 71.4% shooting and added another double-double of 17 points and 12 assists last week. Washington last suited up for Canada with the Senior Women’s National Team in Victoria in the summer of 2024 as part of their Olympic training camp roster.
The reigning NBA MVP is looking for a repeat. Gilgeous-Alexander is doing what he does best, averaging 40 points, five rebounds, and nine assists in just two games in the first round of the Western Conference playoffs against the Phoenix Suns. His standout opening-round playoff performance was highlighted by a playoff career-high 42 points on 15-18 shooting this past weekend, leading the Oklahoma City Thunder to a 3-0 series lead. Gilgeous-Alexander last suited up for Canada at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
