TORONTO (July 30, 2025) – Mason Kraus and Gage Grassick have been named Players of the Week for July 21 - 27.
Winnipeg, Man. native Mason Kraus represented the red and white for the first time in Punta Arenas, Chile, at the FIBA U23 3x3 Nations League 2025. The University of Manitoba Bisons guard led Team Canada in scoring while setting the tone on the defensive end. Kraus made appearances in 4 out of the 6 stops in the Americas 2 conference, and helped bring Canada to a second-place finish in their conference.
Hailing from Prince Albert, Sask., Gage Grassick made a strong impact at the FIBA U23 3x3 Nations League 2025 in Punta Arenas, Chile. The reigning U SPORTS Player of the Year, U SPORTS Championship MVP, and Saskatchewan Female Athlete of the Year scored 16 of Canada’s 21 points in a standout win over Argentina in stop 3. Known for her relentless energy throughout the series, Grassick finished the tournament ranked 4th among all scorers. Grassick helped lead Canada to a third-place finish in their conference.
