TORONTO (January 22, 2026) - Jamal Murray and Bridget Carleton have been named The Keg Size Players of the Week for January 12-18, presented by The Keg.
Murray – who’s currently having his best NBA season, averaging 26 points, seven rebounds, and 4 assists – led the Denver Nuggets to a 3-1 record over the past week. The Kitchener, Ont. native averaged a whopping 35 points over the week, including a standout 42 points and 6 assists in a win over the Washington Wizards. Murray last represented Canada at the 2024 Paris Olympics, where he helped the Senior Men’s National Team to a fourth-place finish.
Carleton has cemented herself in history. In a win over Charleville in the Czech-Republic league, the product of Chatham, Ont. dropped nine three-pointers on 9-for-12 from the field, setting a new record in the Women’s EuroLeague. Her historic performance was accompanied by six rebounds and a total of 29 points. Carleton most recently suited up for Canada at the national level at the 2024 Paris Olympics, and also took part in the Senior Women’s National Team training camp in Victoria this past November.
