National Team Athletes to Watch for in the Men's NCAA Tournament

Chris Boucher - Alongside fellow Canadian Dillon Brooks, Montreal's Chris Boucher helped the Oregon Ducks win the Pac-10 tournament with a swift dispatching of the Utah Utes 88-57. The 6'11 junior had 15 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks. Oregon will open the NCAA tournament against the winner of Southern and Holy Cross Friday March 18th.

Dillon Brooks - Dillon Brooks' 18 points helped his Oregon Ducks outclass the Utah Utes 88-57 to capture the Pac-10 championship. The 1st Team All-Conference guard from Mississauga will lead his team into the National Championship Friday March 18th as the number one seed in the West bracket, pitted against the winner of Southern and Holy Cross.

Jamal Murray - Kitchener's Jamal Murray hit a 3-pointer late in the second half to propel Kentucky past Texas A&M and capture the SEC Championship. This was another feather in the freshman's cap after being named 1st Team All-Conference and becoming the storied program's most prolific first-year scorer. Kentucky will open the National Championship tournament as the four-seed in the East bracket Thursday March 17th against 13-seed Stony Brook.

Dyshawn Pierre - All-Conference 1st Team selection Dyshawn Pierre finished with 22 points and 5 rebounds in the semi-finals of the Atlantic-10 Tournament. Unfortunately his Dayton Flyers lost a close one 82-79 to eventual conference champion St. Joseph's. However the Flyers, after an impressive 25-7 season received an at-large bid into the NCAA tournament and will face Syracuse in the opening round Friday at 12:15pm.

Kyle Wiltjer - Gonzaga clinched a spot in the National Championship Tournament with and 85-75 victory over St Mary's in the WCC Conference Tournament Final. All-Conference 1st Team forward Kyle Wiltjer dropped 17 points and went home with tournament MVP honours. Gonzaga will begin their quest for the final four as the 11-seed in the Midwest bracket against Big East Champion Seton Hall Thursday March 17th.
