ADUT BULGAK - After being named to the ACC's All-Conference 2nd team, Adut Bulgak helped the Florida State Seminoles defeat Tulane in the ACC Conference Tournament Semi-Final with 18 points and 10 rebounds. The 6'4 Edmonton native and the rest of the Seminoles will begin the NCAA Tournament as the fifth seed in the Dallas bracket, and face Middle Tennessee, Saturday March 19th.

NIRRA FIELDS - PAC 12 All-Conference 1st teamer Nirra Fields provided 17 points against Arizona in the Pac-10 conference tournament but her UCLA Bruins succumbed to Oregon St in the final. Despite the loss the team had a stellar regular season, qualifying for the big dance as the third seed in the Bridgeport bracket and will face Hawaii in the first round Saturday, March 19th.

RUTH HAMBLIN -  Oregon State Centre Ruth Hamblin finished the season on a roll, culminating in a dominate 23-point, 20-rebound, and  5-block performance to win the Pac-12 Conference over UCLA. Hamblin, a senior out of Houston, BC, was named to the PAC-12 All-Conference 1st team  (as well as being a PAC-12 scholar of the Year) and will lead the Beavers as the two-seed in their first round match-up against Hawaii Saturday March 19th.

KIA NURSE - Named to the AAC All-Conference 3rd team, Kia Nurse and the undefeated (32-0) Connecticut Huskies are the prohibitive favourites in this year's NCAA tournament and will face Robert Morris in their first round match-up Saturday March 19th. Nurse, the Hamilton, Ontario native, supplied 14 points in the semi-final of the AAC conference tournament and hopes to be part of UConn's ninth consecutive Final Four and fourth straight National Championship.

JAMIE WEISNER - PAC-12 Player of the Year and PAC-12 Tournament Co-MVP Jamie Weisner will join fellow Canadian Ruth Hamblin in the NCAA tournament as their Oregon State Beavers will face Troy in the first round March Friday 18th.  Weisner provided 19 points and five assists in a defeat of UCLA to capture the Pac-12 Conference Title.
