TORONTO, Ont. (July 17, 2023) - Jackson Rowe and Kayla Alexander have been named the Toyota Canada Players of the Week for July 10-16.

After representing Canada last year at GLOBL JAM, Patterson made his return to the U23 Men’s National Team this week in Toronto and made the most of the opportunity. He led Canada in scoring during the tournament with 13.8 points per game, helping guide the team to a silver medal at the second annual GLOBL JAM. Patterson saved his best for last with a 20-point performance in the gold medal game, whiled adding four steals, three rebounds and three assists.

Washington, who was making her first Team Canada appearance since the FIBA U18 Women’s Americas 2018, put on a show at GLOBL JAM. The Drexel Dragon alumna put up 25 points in the tournament’s gold medal game after shooting 8-18 from the field — including 3-6 from beyond-the-arc. Washington also added four steals to her stat line in the game, as Canada fell in heartbreaking fashion to the USA.
