TORONTO (July 18, 2025) – Canada Basketball, in partnership with Sun Life, is proud to host Sun Life Canada Hoops 3x3, a national celebration of basketball, wellness, and community, taking place August 9–10, 2025 at The Bentway in Toronto.

Following provincial qualifiers, U23 men’s and women’s teams from Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec, and Saskatchewan will compete for a grand prize and the title of national champion. This fast-paced, high-energy tournament showcases the next generation of Canadian basketball talent—athletes Proud to Represent their provinces on the national stage.

Admission is free. The event will also be available to stream live. Full tournament schedule to be announced.

In addition to elite competition, fans can expect a weekend full of family-friendly programming and onsite activations designed to promote healthy, active living. Official Canada Basketball merchandise will be available onsite, along with a community visit initiative to deepen local engagement.

Several 3x3 national team athletes will be in attendance, including Kacie Bosch, Cassandra Brown, Paige Crozon, Saicha Grant-Allen, Alex Johnson, and Katherine Plouffe.
