Before heading to Belgium, Alexander played for the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx in her seventh professional season in the league. During her collegiate career, she attended Syracuse University where she became team's all-time leader in points, blocks, field goals, free throws and games played. Alexander has been a member of the Senior Women’s National Team for six years and most recently helped book Canada’s ticket to Tokyo 2020 at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament, where she averaged 6.7 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists.
