Trey Lyles, Niyah Becker named Keg Size Players of the Week

TORONTO (October 17, 2025) - Trey Lyles and Niyah Becker have been named The Keg Size Players of the Week for October 6 - October 12, presented by The Keg.

Saskatoon, Sask., native Trey Lyles continued his strong play for Real Madrid this week, showcasing his scoring efficiency in back-to-back performances. On Oct. 12, the 6-foot-9 forward led his team to a win over Baskonia with 24 points on an impressive 77 per cent shooting, going 4-for-5 from three-point range, 3-for-4 from the field and a perfect 6-for-6 from the free-throw line, while adding five rebounds. Lyles also contributed 12 points, six rebounds and two assists in a win over LDLC Asvel earlier in the week. The Real Madrid standout, who competes in Spain’s Liga ACB and the EuroLeague, last represented Canada at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

Niyah Becker delivered a standout performance for TTT Riga in last week’s Europe Cup Women, scoring 24 points, grabbing nine rebounds, and adding three assists on an efficient 56.6% shooting. The 6-foot-2 forward’s versatility and two-way impact are pivotal to TTT Riga’s success. A rising star in Canadian basketball, Becker has represented her country at multiple age-group levels before joining the Senior Women’s National Team, most recently helping Canada secure a bronze medal at the 2025 FIBA Women’s AmeriCup.
