The Stanford commit was named to the AmeriCup All-Second Team alongside teammate Brooke McLeod after averaging 13.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game throughout the tournament. In Canada’s final group-stage game, Wheeler led the team with 23 points while shooting an outstanding 75% from the field. Although Canada fell short against the United States in the championship game, earning a silver medal and a second-place finish, Wheeler played a key role in helping Canada establish itself as one of the top teams in the Americas. Wheeler most recently represented Canada with the Women’s U18 National Team at the 2026 FIBA U18 Women’s AmeriCup in Irapuato, Mexico.
The big man from Burlington, Ontario, Mfiondu Kabengele played a pivotal role in leading Dubai BC to its first-ever ABA League Championship, earning ABA League Finals MVP honours for his outstanding performances. Kabengele averaged 16.0 points and 9.0 rebounds during two games of the best-of-five Finals series, providing a dominant presence on both ends of the floor. His consistent production and leadership were instrumental in Dubai's historic championship run, helping the club capture its first-ever ABA League title. Kabengele most recently represented Canada with the Senior Men’s National Team at the 2025 FIBA AmeriCup in Nicaragua.
