Nirra Fields (Montreal, Quebec) Junior Guard – UCLA Bruins

Nirra is developing into a great player for the UCLA Bruins. This past week was hard for the Bruins as they dropped two straight against Stanford and California, but Fields averaged a solid stat line of 20.5 PPG, 5.5 RPG and 4.0 SPG. Her highlight performance came against Stanford when she dropped a game-high 22 points while also grabbing 5 rebounds and getting 5 steals. Although UCLA has dropped their last two games, Fields has been a bright sport and she will look to put her Bruins back in the win column against Oregon on Saturday night.

Jamie Weisner (Clarkson, Washington) Junior Guard – Oregon State  Beavers

The Blonde Bomber continues to play lights out for the Oregon State Beavers. As her team picked up two victories over Arizona and Arizona State, Jamie averaged 14.0 PPG and 5.5 RPG while shooting 57% from behind the arc. Weisner’s standout game came against Arizona State when she scored a team-high 21 points to go along with 5 rebounds, a steal and a 57% shooting percentage. Jamie and the Beavers continue to win games and climb up the NCAA Rankings. Oregon State will look to continue their winning ways against USC on Saturday night.

Cassandra Brown (Vernon, British Columbia) Senior Guard/Forward – Portland Pilots

Brown continues to play well for the Pilots. Even though Portland dropped their two games this past week to Pacific and Saint Mary’s, Cassandra stood out by averaging a near double-double - 18.0 PPG and 9.5 RPG to go along with a steal. She shined the brightest against Pacific in a narrow loss where she netted 23 points, snagged 10 rebounds and got 2 steals. After a tough week, the Pilots look to bounce back against Gonzaga on Saturday.

Xavier Rathan-Mayes (Scarborough, Ontario) Freshman Guard – Florida State Seminoles

Xavier made history this week when he scored a career high 35 points against ACC rival North Carolina – the fifth-highest scorer in any game by a freshman in ACC history. As the Seminoles went 1-1 on the week (beating Clemson and losing to UNC), Rathan-Mayes averaged 26.0 PPG, 6.5 APG and 5.0 RPG with 3 SPG. The North Carolina game was his best of the season – 35 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. After losing to UNC, Xavier and the Seminoles look to bounce back against Wake Forest on Wednesday night.

Olivier Hanlan (Aylmer, Quebec) Junior Shooting Guard – Boston College Eagles

Hanlan continues to be a bright spot for the Eagles this season. This past week Hanlan and Boston College had a .500 record, going 1-1 against Syracuse and Georgia Tech. Over those two games, Hanlan averaged 19.0 PPG to go along with 6.0 RPG, 3.5 APG and a 58% shooting percentage from 3-point territory. His highlight performance was against Georgia Tech where to drilled 25 points together with 7 rebounds and 2 assists. Boston College hopes to get on a two-game mini winning streak this week as they go up against Louisville on Wednesday.

Dyshawn Pierre (Whitby, Ontario) Junior Forward – Dayton Flyers

Dyshawn continues to be a mainstay on the NCAA Lines of the Week after having another solid week. With the Flyers going 1-1 on the week, Pierre averaged 13.0 PPG, 6.5 RPG and 2.0 APG to go along with a 60% 3-point shooting percentage. His brightest performance of the week came against Richmond when he lead his team to a narrow 63-60 victory – scoring 21 points, grabbing 5 rebounds, dishing 3 assists and chipping in with 2 steals. He hopes to continue his high-level play into next week as his Flyers go up against UMASS on Thursday night.
